Stories & More
Our weekly preschool program schedule begins again September 9, and will run through May of 2011. Every Thursday morning at 11:00 am, preschoolers and their caregivers can join early childhood educator Bonnie Kay as she leads a fun-filled hour of stories, rhymes, movement, music, craft activities and more. No advance registration is required for these sessions, which help introduce youngsters and families to all the library has to offer.

Art in the Meeting Room
A special collection of works from the Glen Arbor Art Association's Artist in Residence program will be on display through the summer. These are works donated to the Art Association by former visiting artists.

Lakeshore Readers
This book discussion group meets at the library on the last Wednesday of each month at 10:15 am. Their lively meetings are open to the public. Here are some of their most recent selections:

Mary Ann Shaffer, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Society
Abraham Verghese, Cutting for Stone
Elizabeth Strout, Olive Kitteridge
Gil Adamson, The Outlander
Liza Mundy, Michelle: a biography
